Susan M. Field

Himrod/Nichols, NY: Susan M. Field, age 66, of Himrod, formerly of Nichols, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday January 5, 2026 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, in Elmira, NY.  

Honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours; and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Susan was born April 30, 1959 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late William M. and Betty Jane (Wood) O'Connell.  She was raised and lived in Nichols for most of her life.  Susan was employed by Sanmina, of Owego, NY, where she was a circuit board welder in AOI Inner Layer for twenty years, retiring in 2014.  She was a very active former member of ROKI in Nichols.  A Dunkin junkie who loved French Vanilla iced coffee; she enjoyed sewing, Diamond Paint, and her faithful dog.  

She is loved will be forever missed by her daughter Brandy S. (A.C.) Dobson; grandson Alex Dobson; a brother Raymond (Ann) O'Connell; sister Judy (Thomas) Toot; her beloved significant other Rickie Martin; and her fur baby “Ann”.
